Established in 2003 by a collective of social activists, the organization is driven by the aspiration to foster a child-friendly culture across the nation. Grounded in the principles and provisions enshrined within the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) 1989, and aligned with the Universal Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – 2030, Child Nepal’s mission and operations are firmly rooted in upholding the fundamental rights and well-being of children. Registered under the Government of Nepal/District Administration Office/Kathmandu (Regd. No. 460/059/060), and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council (SWC No. 14240), Kathmandu.
