Child Nepal is committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality education, starting from the earliest stages of development. CN focuses on Early Childhood Development (ECD) and aims to lay a strong foundation for children’s lifelong learning, well-being, and future success. Through various programs and initiatives, Child Nepal strives to create supportive environments where children from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds can thrive.
Importance of Early Childhood Development (ECD)
Early childhood, from birth to eight years old, is a critical period for brain development and learning. Quality ECD programs have lasting benefits for children, including improved cognitive and social-emotional development, better school readiness, and higher academic achievement in later years. Investing in ECD not only enhances individual outcomes but also contributes to broader societal goals such as poverty reduction, social equity, and economic growth.
