An Initiative of Child Nepal (CN)
Child Nepal Abroad (CN Abroad) is the international extension of Child Nepal (CN), a dedicated child rights organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal. CN Abroad aims to build global partnerships, raise international awareness, and mobilize resources to support the holistic development, protection, and empowerment of children in Nepal.
This initiative serves as a bridge between Child Nepal’s grassroots efforts and the global community, engaging international donors, development partners, diaspora communities, volunteers, and advocates in advancing the rights and well-being of children in Nepal. CN Abroad also facilitates international exposure, training, and knowledge exchange opportunities to enhance the capacity and sustainability of Child Nepal’s programs.
Through CN Abroad, Child Nepal expands its impact by promoting cross-cultural understanding, global citizenship, and collective responsibility in ensuring that every child grows up in a safe, supportive, and empowering environment—no matter where they are.
Child Nepal New Zealand (CNNZ)

Child Nepal New Zealand (CNNZ) was formed as a charitable trust in early 2025. After returning from an overseas mission trip to Kathmandu in 2024 in which she volunteered as a teacher aide at Gokarneshwor Light Academy, Emily set about forming the trust.
While she was in Nepal, Emily developed a passion to help in the ongoing support and resourcing of children and schools. She had seen first-hand that many children often went without basic school supplies due to the financial pressures on families and the community.
