Child Nepal (CN) in partnership with Kindernothilfe is implementing project “Facilitating Child Friendly Learning and Psychosocial Support to Flood affected Children and Parents in Nepal.” in Gyalthum & Chanaute area of Helmabhu Rural Municpality. The project aims in Flood affected communities recover and live a normal and dignified life in their own communities
 
Position One                       : Counsellor- 2
Work station                     : Sindhupalchok – Gyalthum – 1 & Chanaute – 1
Duration      : 6 months
Job Description:

• Provide counselling support to the flood victims.
• Prepare and update the required tools and techniques of counselling.
• Establish a relationship of trust and respect with children and parents.
• Explore the community people who need the counselling support.
• Reporting of the counselling support.
• Refer the victims to the needy available sources.
• Keep records of the victims and update regularly
• Compile significant case stories/success stories
• Report to the Project coordinator of the victims served.

 
Academic Qualification preferred :  Bachelor degree or diploma in Counselling, (Masters Preferable)
Experience: – At least one year experience in the relevant areas.
Driving Licenses: – Preferable
 
Position Two                      : Facilitator –  4
Work station                     : Sindhupalchok – Gyalthum –  2 & Chanaute – 2
Duration      : 6 months
Job Description:

• Facilitate the Child friendly space
• Support children & adolescents with child friendly activities.
• Explore flood victim children & adolescents and welcome in child friendly space.
• Daily reporting to Coordinator about the activities.
• Compile significant case stories/success stories
• Report to the Project coordinator of the victims served through the project

 
Academic Qualification preferred:  +2
Experience: – At least one year experience of  in the relevant areas and knowledge in child rights.
 
Note:

1. Flood victims candidates are highly preferable.
